Ogromni potencial digitalnega gospodarstva je v Evropi premalo izkoriščen. Dokazano je, da nove digitalne priložnosti ustvarjajo nove poslovne priložnosti.

Možnosti za rast, ki jih digitalno gospodarstvo ponuja v Evropi, so obetavne v smislu zagotavljanja rešitev za naraščajoče stopnje brezposelnosti in ustvarjanje novih zaposlitvenih možnosti, zlasti za mlade.

Turizem je ena od ključnih dejavnosti, ki prispevajo k evropskemu gospodarstvu, zato je ključnega pomena zagotoviti konkurenčnost turizma v EU. Izboljšanje digitalizacije MSP v turizmu bo omogočilo evropski turistični industriji uspevati v današnjem digitalnem svetu.

Trenutno je na voljo zelo malo podatkov in informacij o stopnji digitalizacije, zlasti na področju turizma na ravni EU, pa tudi o ovirah, ki podjetja v turizmu v EU ovirajo pri izboljšanju uporabe digitalnih orodij.

Zato je Evropska komisija naročila raziskovalni projekt, da bi ugotovila stopnjo digitalizacije evropskih MSP v turizmu in ovir, s katerimi se te organizacije srečujejo.

V zvezi s tem vas prosimo za sodelovanje v raziskavi. S svojim časom in izkušnjami boste prispevali k rezultatom raziskave.

The huge potential of the digital economy is underexploited in Europe. There is evidence that new digital opportunities create new business opportunities.

The growth prospects offered by the digital economy in Europe are promising also in terms of providing solutions for the soaring rates of unemployment and creating new job opportunities, particularly for young people.

Enhancing the use of digital technologies and online services is among the European Commission's policy priorities.

Tourism is one of the key contributors to the European economy and as such is critical to ensure the competitiveness of EU tourism. Enhancing digitalisation of tourism SMEs will enable the European tourism industry to thrive in today’s digital world.

Currently, there is very little data and information available on the level of digitalization specifically in the tourism sector at EU level as well as on the obstacles preventing EU tourism businesses to improve their use of digital tools.

In view of this, the European Commission has commissioned a research project to determine the level of digitalisation of European tourism SMEs and the barriers these organisations are facing.

In this regard, we would appreciate if you could contribute with your time and experience by participating in this research.
